On August 1, 1995, Raekwon released his solo debut album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…. Also known as the Purple Tape, this is arguably the best solo LP from a Wu-Tang Clan member. Even tho it is a solo album, Ghostface does an incredible job as the co star. This LP showcased the incredible chemistry between the two MCs. But it also let us know that The Chef was by far one of the sharpest lyricists, not only in the Wu, but in Hip Hop.
