@ShoutOutNewYork X @UnitedCrates Present: The Gza – The Swordstrumentals Chess Piece & Mixtape

unnamed-12

I’m real excited to announce this exclusive release courtesy of the fam over at ShoutOutNewYork. If you’re not familiar with S.O.N.Y, it’s a different kind of hip hop experience. They bring you rarities, exclusives, and extraordinary merchandise that you can’t get anywhere else. They’ve really outdone themselves with this one.

As you all know, The classic Gza album, Liquid Swords, dropped twenty years ago as of yesterday. ShoutOutNewYork is offering an exclusive mix (if you know the Vinylcologist, than you already know it’s heat!), a limited edition T-shirt, and a Liquid Swords inspired chess piece flash drive. This here ladies and gentleman is a go. I already copped one of these. Check out the pictures below and go get that before it’s too late. Bless.

You can purchase the T-Shirt, Chess Piece, and Mix here.

@SHOUTOUTNEWYORK X @UNITEDCRATES Present: @Raekwon – #TheLinxstrumentals #OB4CL20th

LINXSTRUMENTALS

I remember the first track I heard off Only Build 4 Cuban Linx. It was during a Funkmaster Flex interview with Raekwon and Glaciers was playing in the background. I rewinded that so many times just to hear that Glaciers beat in the background. I can’t believe that was twenty years ago. The purple tape has a become a legendary relic in hip hop. True fans of the genre own the original tape and protect it like the holy grail.

This here is what I would call a masterpiece, created by none other than @UnitedCrates (The Vinylcologist). If you’ve ever heard any of his mixtapes, you know the quality and effort he puts in. Enjoy this and most importantly. Share it.

Make sure to visit Shout Out New York and sign up for future exclusives and hip hop rarities.

@UnitedCrates X @ShoutOutNewYork: Action Bronson – Back to the Future Mixtape @ActionBronson

Bronson-Cover-1-UC2

United Crates (The Vinylcologist) and Shout Out New York are back with another mixtape that is sure to whet your palate! That’s chef language for, “this mixtape is gonna fuck your head up!” Crates and S.O.N.Y. pay homage to the big homie out of Queens, Action Bronson. Those who are fans of Bronzolino know that he’s not only a chef in the studio but a chef in the kitchen. Shout out to him and to @UnitedCrates for blessing us with yet another dope mix. Salute!

Earlier today marked the 4 year anniversary of Action Bronson’s Dr. Lecter album being released to Itunes. While most everyone didn’t remember, I made sure to. We all watched as the once unknown chef from Flushing, Queens grew as an artist, performer, weed connoisseur, TV show host, and most of all an important figure in hip hop culture. From dabs to fine olive oils Bam Bam has helped hip hop progress. Hop up in the 850 and Time travel with Bronson and myself on a journey from his early days to his current flames, with one offs, exclusive blends, rare b sides, and some of everyone’s favorites. Post, RT, Insta, whateva. Let’s help the Action fans of today know the Bronson of yesterday.

Shirt – Bengal Tiger Prod. by The Vinylcologist (Stream)

Shirt, aka T.Shirt, aka Queens Cat drops this gem I produced, late last night. He continues his barrage of hard lyrics over dirty drums and some random choir sample I dug up from god knows where. Bars upon bars with a few jabs to the smartdummies that are still failing to pay attention. I’m just honored to have a song in the books with someone as talented and visionary as him. We actually have a lot in common. He loves dirty beats and samples, fine art, good wine, hot women in polka dot lingerie, and great cigars. “Cat lovers unite to smash hip hop.” …what a great headline.
Check out his website before it get taken down.
