After releasing the single, The Chef wastes no time getting a visual out for “This Is What It Comes Too’, from his upcoming album, ‘The Wild’, due out March 24th via H20 Records/EMPIRE.
This classic Raekwon album, Only Built For Cuban Linx turns drinking age today. That’s 21 for you smart/dumb motherfuc****. I thought it would be dope to repost this classic mix featuring the album’s instrumentals/originals and some other goodies. The Vinylcologist aka United Crates (7th Boro contributor and one hell of a DJ) created this for the 20th anniversary but I feel like it didn’t get the props it deserved. Play this shit. Enjoy this shit.
Canada’s own Peter Jackson teams up with Wu legend, Raekwon the Chef, to bring us “Everywhere I Go”. Peep it.
Brooklyn & Peter Jackson’s Album “2 Side’s To A Story” is in stores now.
Nice features over Brooklyn artist Gramatik’s production. I’m digging the vibe of this. Check it out!
Lead single from the soundtrack to the film BE Inspired which is set to be released in September 2016. The soundtrack will feature 10 collaborative songs featuring an American emcee and a Jamaican reggae artist. Digging this first tune. Check it out!
I remember the first track I heard off Only Build 4 Cuban Linx. It was during a Funkmaster Flex interview with Raekwon and Glaciers was playing in the background. I rewinded that so many times just to hear that Glaciers beat in the background. I can’t believe that was twenty years ago. The purple tape has a become a legendary relic in hip hop. True fans of the genre own the original tape and protect it like the holy grail.
This here is what I would call a masterpiece, created by none other than @UnitedCrates (The Vinylcologist). If you’ve ever heard any of his mixtapes, you know the quality and effort he puts in. Enjoy this and most importantly. Share it.

Ghostface is set to drop his “Twelve Reasons to Die II” (I thought it should of been called 13 reasons to die but what the hell do I know!) tomorrow and it’s a goodie! There’s a lot of RAGU (Raekwon & Ghost united for the hip hop challenged) and a ill RZA cut. The NY Times has a stream of the album on their site. If you can’t wait for tomorrow, you can peep it here.
