Wayback Whensday v.42 (I Shot Ya!)

LL Cool J feat. Keith Murray, Prodigy, Fat Joe, & Foxy Brown – I Shot Ya

I saw Keith Murray perform this verse in Newark NJ this past weekend and it took me back. I completely forgot about this track up until this weekend. This beat was made for these 5 lyricists, although I wouldn’t of minded a Redman and Nas verse. I’m just saying. Peace.

Rock Steady Crew 34th Anniversary Weekend [video]

If Hip Hop had its own holiday it would be called the Rock Steady Anniversary. I had the pleasure to attend both Rock Steady events (BBoy battles & concert) and they were both amazing. It was a great feeling seeing people from so many different cultures come together to celebrate the art form that we love. Everyone came in peace and had an excellent time. Here are just a few videos highlighting both events. Make sure you go support Crazy Legs and the rest of the Rock Steady Crew for preserving Hip Hop history. Shout out to Dstroy and Mo for making it a memorable weekend. Peace.

Rock Steady doing what they do!

Rahzel,Rah Digga,Large Professor, and Keith Murray are some of the many that rocked the stage steadily. Watch Keith Murray jump over the barrier and rock with the city of Newark! That’s hip Hop.

Here we have a classic battle between 5 Crew Dynasty and Supreme Beingz.
