Statik Selektah X Black Thought – Couldn’t Tell (Unreleased)

Statik just let this one slide from his Lucky 7 cutting room floor sessions. An extremely laid back Black Thought drops one more verse in the solid arsenal of classics he hold under his belt. Tapping into his storytelling capabilities, he takes you on a detailed 3 minute journey that you are sure to love.

Check out this ill collection of @BlackThought verses @TheRoots @Questlove #Philly

b5205881caed70397baad1f653dcd535

What do you think about when you hear the word “Philly”? Most likely you would say “Cheese Steaks”, “Eagles”, or “Rocky”. If you’re a Hip Hop fan, you would most definitely say “The Roots”. The legendary Roots crew has been holding down Philadelphia and Hip Hop for over two decades now. Their frontman, Black Thought, is the lyrical force behind the group and he is known for destroying microphones and embarrassing other emcees who dare to share a track with him.

This here is a collection of Black Thoughts illest verses as put together by @Mills_7thBoro. Make sure you tweet him and let him know how thankful you are for this goodness! No mixing….no annoying DJ dropping his name every thirty seconds…..just lyrics! Peace.
