Here’s one more gem to support the homie J. Dee’s birthday today. Stray Phrases is a New York based jazz trio that released this live recording of them covering the “Donuts” LP in Sept. 2012 I’m not bullshitting you when I tell you that this has been in my ipod since it dropped. I would put this up there in my top 10 live recordings ever. Such a great mix to revisit time and time again this just never gets old to me. I’ve been waiting on them to drop something new that is similar, but it has yet to happen. They are scheduled to release a new album on 4.20.14. Stay in tune.
