These two MCs can tear up any mic handed to them…but these two MCs are also known to give back to the communities. Here they are at the Homies Empowerment Program at a YMCA in East Oakland, CA. Not only are they serving lunch in the physical form with food for the stomach…but also in the mental form with food for the mind. THIS is the influence that MCs should be offering the youth (NOT cars, diamonds, drugs, and other BS). All you rappers need to GROW UP in order for the youth to GROW UP.
Much respect for DJ Absolut for putting this together….great way to unite a bunch of sick MCs and just murder the track.
I guess when so much MC skills get together….LYRICS gotta be on point!

Havoc: How you want love and don’t give it back, all they want is V.I.P. and where the liquor at? And when you got a good heart, yeah they walk on it, but I got a tec with a mean cough on it. I don’t wanna hear the lame excuses, left my guard down now I’m throwing up my deuces. Fore’ you have a nigga stressed smoking looses, 100s I ain’t for the dumb shit. Cause love is a selfish emotion, so I only give it up in doses. If you give too much then they won’t need ya, it’s funny how they catch amnesia. Remember when they monkey asses broke? Niggas get money then they ass get low. Quiet as a mouse motherfuckers tip toe, thanks for the love, I’m a let a clip go.
Take a listen to this MC from Long Island, NY. He has a great flow with sick lyrics…and if you are a fan of Street Fighter, you will get most of the references. His album Perfect Heaven (天) drops on January 11, 2011.
WOW…this is like the good ol’ days when great MCs got together and ripped it. [I REALLY like these LYRICS…hint hint]

On this day 8 years ago we lost a Hip Hop legend. Jam Master Jay was the heart of the group we know as RUN DMC. Their music influenced many of today’s artists and music fans around the world. He will always be appreciated for his contribution to what we know as Hip Hop today. Thank You JMJ.
Hip Hop is best when it is real. There is and have always been rappers who want to be a part of Hip Hop, but I can’t respect them because they lack truth and honesty. Sure they do sell records and they do get all the radio spins, but they don’t represent Hip Hop. Luckily, there are still MCs out there that ARE honest, are not afraid to be themselves and to have fun, yet still spit high-quality lyrics. Jesse Abraham is one of those MCs. With his most recent mixtape, Bars and NoBull, he shows us his portrayal of Hip Hop. He gets in the booth and does not try to transform into anyone else….he is still Jesse. After listening to this album, I feel that if I were to chill with him, he would act the same way he spits his rhymes: witty, smart, sarcastic, and fun. The album has production by Panjabi MC, !llmind, KO Beatz, Spills, Willie Green and Trace Thomas. The guest appearances include Premonition, Jeanette Berry and Albert Rhymestein.
