PRhyme (DJ Premier & Royce da 5’9″) feat. Nas – Courtesy [@DJSmu Remix]

Prhyme was one of my favorite Albums last year (next to MadGibbs’ Pinata LP) and a lot of the tracks were in heavy rotation.
“Courtesy” was one of the few tracks I rewinded a lot of times just for the instrumental alone (you can’t deny that it has a special sound with Adrian Younge’s Organ Music to it) and thought like “the original is dope but how can I switch it up a bit?”
So I went through my mind who would fit on dope Premo Beats and Nas was one of the first people I could think of so I decided to take his Premo collabo “NY State of Mind Pt.2” and add his verse to the already great Joint.
The outcome can be heard below.

Sidenote: The Artwork that you see on this post was made by me,hope y’all enjoy it just as much as the Blend.

Bad Meets Evil ft Kid Vishis – Above The Law [Smu Mix]

My man Stroy dropped the Kid Vishis Interview today (which you can check out here),  i thought i dig deep in my catalog and bring this one back for you.
I made this Song about 2 years ago to show that Vishis can keep up with both Eminem and Royce on a record.
It was very popular and even the man himself (Vishis) and Royce da 5’9″ checked it out and gave me props for it!

Check it out below, the download is on me!

NY Fashion: City Morgue NYC Spring ’14 Collection

Are you sick of the same stupid shit with streetwear brands? These guys are always using silly ass gimmicks to grab your attention to increase their sales. While everyone else seems to be stuck in the recycling phase with ideas and artwork, City Morgue NYC comes correct with it’s new spring line. No logo rips, no trying to strum up sales with sneaker colorways, no fuckery, just good old design and ill ideas. Run by a friend of mine, City Morgue NYC has already carved a deep gash in the arm of hip hop fashion. After last years Action Bronson X Danny Brown tour collab tee designed by Deladeso, they quickly gained momentum in the clothing game. The motto “CMKS187” (City Morgue Kill Shit) is a perfect representation of the man behind the brand, who is a hard working hustler from NYC. His clothing has been spotted on Kendrick, Action Bronson, Smoke DZA, and many others in the rap circuit. A$AP Mob recently teamed up with CMKS for a limited edition “Cutthroats” tee inspired by the ink and artwork on A$AP Yams neck. Check out their new lookbook and see why you are bound to see more coming from City Morgue NYC in the future.
Fuck keeping it 100, when you can keep it 1000.

UPDATE/NOTE: The Lookbook has been taken down due to it not being the final version. We will repost it as soon as the official one is available.
